Q: What currency should I take with me on the Cruise?
Naturally on a Cruise you will visit a number of destinations and
countries who will all have their individual currencies. There is
a virtue is taking travellers cheques, which can be cashed both on
the ship and ashore. Furthermore, if they were lost you would normally
be able to replace them by reporting the loss to the originating Bank.
Regrettably, cash that is lost is not replaceable other than through a
claim with your insurers.
You may obtain the currency of your local
destination from the Pursers Office on board the ship but it is
suggested not to leave your need to change currency to the last
minute on the ship as they may have limited facilities. In most
destinations the Euro or United States dollar (dependent on where
you are travelling) is acceptable as a currency. You should however
be aware that the exchange rate could vary on a daily basis and
dependent on the exchange location you use.
Finally the Liverpool
Cruise Club and all their experienced staff are available to
assist you in booking your cruise and assisting you in all your
holiday requirements. We will spare no efforts to ensure that you
will enjoy a memorable holiday and one, which you will want to repeat
again and again.
